This grand Tudor house design reflects a sophisticated interpretation of traditional European-inspired architecture, thoughtfully adapted to meet the demands of modern living. With a total heated area of 4,897 square feet distributed across two levels, the residence offers an expansive and highly functional layout, ideal for families seeking both refinement and versatility within a single cohesive structure.
The first floor, encompassing 3,151 square feet, establishes the primary living environment with a carefully organized arrangement of formal and informal spaces. A covered front porch introduces the home with a sense of stately presence, leading into a defined foyer that serves as the central point of arrival. From here, the plan unfolds into a series of interconnected rooms, including a formal dining room designed for hosting and special occasions, and a keeping or family room anchored by a fireplace that provides warmth and visual focus.
At the heart of the home, the kitchen is configured to support both everyday functionality and social interaction. Featuring a central island, eating bar, and walk-in pantry, the space is complemented by an adjacent breakfast area that allows for more casual dining. The open floor plan ensures a seamless flow between the kitchen and living areas, reinforcing a sense of connectivity throughout the main level.
The first-floor master suite is designed as a private retreat, strategically positioned to provide separation from other living spaces. This suite includes a spacious bedroom, a dedicated sitting area, and a well-appointed bath with double vanity sinks. A walk-in closet and direct laundry access further enhance convenience, reflecting a thoughtful approach to daily living. The split-bedroom configuration ensures that secondary bedrooms are situated away from the master suite, promoting privacy for all occupants.
Additional functional spaces on the main level include a home office or study, ideal for remote work or quiet concentration, as well as a utility room and a powder room for guests. The inclusion of an outdoor living area extends the usable space beyond the interior, offering opportunities for relaxation and entertainment in a sheltered environment.
The second floor, comprising 1,746 square feet, expands the home’s versatility through a range of recreational and private spaces. A loft area provides an open yet defined zone that visually connects to the level below, while a bonus room offers flexibility for a variety of uses, from a playroom to a secondary living area. The game room and media room further enhance the home’s entertainment capabilities, creating dedicated environments for leisure and social activities.
Three additional bedrooms are located on the upper level, each with access to well-appointed bathrooms, ensuring comfort and privacy for family members or guests. The arrangement of these spaces supports both individual retreat and communal interaction, reflecting a balanced approach to residential design.
The home also features a three-car side-load garage, totaling 679 square feet, which integrates seamlessly into the overall structure while maintaining the prominence of the main façade. Constructed on a slab foundation with 2x4 wall framing, the residence combines durability with efficient construction practices.
With an overall width of 61 feet and a depth of 75 feet, the home maintains a substantial yet proportionate footprint. Ceiling heights of 10 feet on the first floor and 9 feet on the second floor contribute to a sense of openness and architectural hierarchy throughout the interior.
In its entirety, this Tudor house plan represents a careful synthesis of historical architectural character and contemporary spatial planning. Its generous scale, diverse functional spaces, and refined detailing make it a compelling choice for those seeking a distinguished and highly livable home.

All house plans sold by Archival Designs have been designed to comply with the International Residential Code (IRC) and to the local codes in the area where the designer resides or where the house was built.
All house plans are designed to meet or exceed the national building standards required by the International Residential Code (IRC). Due to differences in climate and geography throughout North America, every city, local municipality and county has unique building codes and regulations that must be followed to obtain a building permit. Prior to purchasing a set of house plans, we recommend that you meet with your local building officials in order to determine the building requirements for your area. It is the responsibility of the purchaser(s) and/or builder to ensure that the structure is constructed to meet the codes of their local area.
Important Note:
House plans do not come stamped or signed by an architect or engineer. Additionally, house plans typically will not include structural engineering notes/calculations. Please check with your local building officials to determine if a stamp is required. If required, the building department will only accept a stamp from a licensed professional in the state where the home will be built.
Depending on your city, county, and state building requirements, house plans may need to be reviewed by a local licensed architect or engineer for structural details and code standards before construction begins. This is particularly true in coastal areas and those facing seismic events, extreme winds, and heavy snow. If you are building in any of these areas, a licensed structural engineer will likely be needed to provide the necessary calculations and additional drawings. We authorize the use of our plans conditioned on your obligation and agreement to strictly comply with all local building codes, ordinances, regulations, and requirements, including permits and inspections at the time of and during construction. We recommend checking with your local building department for the most current requirements. The purchaser(s) and/or builder are responsible for additional expenses incurred through meeting municipality requirements or other requirements for construction.
Our foundation plans have been designed for universal conditions and may need to be adjusted to fit your specific site conditions. The foundation should be modified by a local structural engineer to comply with soil testing laboratory findings and local building requirements.
Our house plans will include schematic electrical drawings; however, circuiting or wire sizing will not be included. Your electrical subcontractor will typically provide these drawings.
HVAC and plumbing drawings are not included. Your mechanical and plumbing subcontractors will determine the best layout for your site. Local HVAC codes, climatic requirements and commonly used systems vary throughout the country. The direction of how water flow will enter the home vary from case to case. For this reason, it is impossible to provide universal plans.
