Today I'm going to share a blog with you from one of our "family" members. It's a little project she and her husband recently worked on.  If you have any projects you'd like to share, please feel free to submit your request to tbrickle@archivaldesigns.com.  I'm going to attend the "Big Cleveland Home Show", and will report back with the coolest of the cool in my next blog. So here goes, enjoy . . . and thank you Didi Kimmerle for sharing. Hello! Lately I have been inspired by iHeart Organizing.  Jen has a great ability to make things organized, functional and pretty. Like, really pretty. So while reading her blog, and sharing with my hubby, we decided to start working on some projects. This weekend we tackled re-finishing an old dresser we had in the garage collecting dust. It had a lot of character, but it did not match any of our décor indoors. So we decided if we changed the colors, it would be a great addition to our guest bedroom! We have been looking for a dresser to use there, and this is just a great option! It didn’t cost us a thing! {We already had all the sand paper and paint we needed}. Here’s a whole bunch of before, during, and after pictures for you guys! I hope you enjoy! This is the dresser before we did anything to it:

And this is after we sanded {and by we I mean my husband}:

This is after a few coats of paint, while it was drying:

We decided to paint the inside of the dresser light gray and dark gray for a modern and sleek looking finish! WE LOVE IT!

We added new hardware, and it matches the other hardware in the room! It looks perfect!

Now, the only thing we have left to do is figure out what to do with the see-through drawers.  Any suggestions!?! We’d love some ideas!!! <3 Choose From More Than 400 House Designs and House Plans We offer house designs in a wide range of styles and sizes.
